Barrow-in-Furness now has a new gateway, the £10m investment has opened up the Harding Rise access road, leading into the World Class Waterfront Business Park, which is one of the best new sites being opened up on Europe's Atlantic Coast using European and UK Governmentfunding. The new development is already attracting much interest from developers, expanding businesses and energy companies looking to take advantage of 'Britain's Energy Coast'.
Kim Smith spokeswoman for The Waterfront marketing team added: "Danish energy giant, Dong is now using a new 18 acre service base for construction of 450 MW offshore wind farms, off Britain's Energy Coast".
