The 'bestof' is a franchise operated and run in Furness by Helen Penny, thebestoffbarrowandfurness.  Helen decided to donate any surplus profit from sponsorship to local hospice St Mary's.

Project:  The Waterfront, Barrow-in-Furness

More and More people are tapping into Barrow's Waterfront, one of NW England's largest Waterfront regeneration mixed use schems, incorporating a business park, residential and maria developments.  The number of visitors to the recently updated website, http://www.waterfrontbp.com/ is at its highest since its launch in February 2007

Thousands of users are looking at the site each mnth to establish what the Waterfront offers, information is key and evidently people are hungry to see the evolving site online and learn more about the plans for Barrow's latest business park by visiting the website http://www.waerfrontbarrowbp.com/

Barrow-in-Furness is the Gateway to Britain's Energy Coast and one of the North West of England's energy hubs.

The East Coast of the UK has long been associated with the energy industry.  However, a new coastline on the West Coast of England off the Irish Sea is ast becoming Britain's Gateway to the Energy Coast, and Barrow-in-Furness is at the heart of it. 

Barrow to go Green with new eco-friendly Energy Plant on the Waterfront

A new £20 million base-load 'eco-friendly' electricity generating plant in Barrow-in-Furness has been given the planning go aheady Cumbria County Countil.  Sunrise Renewables Ltd plan to build a wood burning combined heat and power biomas plant on land at Ramsden Dock, part of Barrow's Waterfront on the south side of the port's land in Barrow, North West Coast of England.

City Walk, Leeds is a £100 million office and hotel scheme at the gateway to the city.  In total the scheme encompasses 200,000 sq ft of high spec office accommodation, Leeds' largest hotel a 324 bed 3/4star executive Bewleys hotel and 241 two bed apartments.  SLPR was involved at the early stages of construction to help raise the profile, attract investors and ultimately occupiers.  The scheme is now fully occupied and was so successful that No 2 City Walk is currently being constructed. 


Leeds' largest spec built office, No 1 City Walk, sold for £18.3 million

City Walk Real Estate, a joint venture between Simons Estates, Citigroup Global Investments and private clients of Citigroup has sold to property asset management company, ISIS Property for £18.3 million.
